Project goal

The project aims to strengthen the role of women's non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and initiative groups in civil society, providing them with support and developing leadership potential. We strive to ensure the active participation of women in the socio-economic development of the country, providing them with skills in strategic planning, advocacy, financial management and networking. Project scope

📍 Regions of implementation: Tashkent city, Tashkent region, Fergana region
📅 Implementation period: February 2025 – January 2027

Republican center "Tarakkiyot" for support and development of welfare of the population of Uzbekistan

Main project areas

1️⃣ Creation of a network of women's NGOs

Identification of women's organizations and study of their needs
Creation of an open catalog of women's NGOs
Development of a platform for cooperation and exchange of experience among women leaders
2️⃣ Advanced training and leadership programs

Conducting seminars on strategic planning and leadership
Development of management and operational skills for NGOs
Training on financial sustainability and attracting grants
Development of media strategies and communication skills for advocacy
3️⃣ Support for local initiatives

Financing and promoting the development of women's initiatives
Mentoring programs for future women leaders
4️⃣ Promoting gender equality and civil society

Organizing round tables with government and civil society representatives
Conducting information campaigns on gender equality issues
Final conference on project results and recommendations
Who can participate?

✔️ Representatives of women's NGOs and initiative groups
✔️ Organizations working in the field of women's empowerment
✔️ Leaders interested in the development of civil society

Participation process

1️⃣ Fill out the questionnaire and provide basic information about yourself
2️⃣ Prepare a motivation letter
3️⃣ Take trainings, participate in networking meetings and mentoring programs
4️⃣ Implement local initiatives and present their results
